As a personal trainer, I get to hear stories about eating all the time. I've heard tons of reasons of why it's so hard to stick to clean eating. These reasons vary from "I just need to eat something crunchy" to "my co-workers/ family make fun of me" and everything in between.
I want to focus on the people who say they can eat right, but outside source seem to foil their nutrition plan. I'm telling you right now that you will NEVER be successful unless you change your mindset and stop caring about what other people think.
Somewhere in our society it became ok for people to bring fast food or skip lunch everyday but if you bring chicken and vegetables you are labeled some sort of fanatic weirdo. Now I could tell you some arguments to use against these people but you better off learning to do what makes you happy not caring what people around you think.
At the same time it's just as important that you don't become that annoying co-worker or family member who is criticizing how others eat. To each their own I say. I eat what my plan says I should eat and I don't vary from it. To me it's simple...purchase and prepare the food you need and when you have to , take it with you.
I suggest you start today by putting yourself a little higher on your priority list and start doing what you know is right.
